BREAKING NEWS: Herman Mashaba elected Mayor of Johannesburg
JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliances Herman Mashaba has been elected as the Mayor of the City of Johannesburg.
Following a long day of discussion and voting, the DA’s candidate Herman Mashaba has been elected to be the Mayor of the City of Johannesburg, beating ANC rival Parks Tau.
Tau received 125 votes while Mashaba received 144.
The DA’s Kevin Wax was elected the chief whip of Johannesburg.
