Naked man bust fondling sleeping woman’s breasts
ALEXANDRA – Naked man fondling sleeping woman nabbed for attempted rape.
A man was arrested and remanded in custody by the Alex police for the attempted rape of a woman at her female friend’s 16th Avenue home.
An investigation will determine if and when he will appear in court.
The suspect was nabbed in the early hours of 24 July.
Police spokesperson Lieutenant Allie Kodisang said the victim went to bed at the friend’s place at 2am after an ancestral party. At about 4am, the friend woke up to pull blankets she was sharing with the victim over her body as she was feeling cold. She screamed in shock when she saw an unknown man naked and touching the victim’s breasts.
The scream also woke up the victim who joined in the screaming which attracted the friend’s father who came and found the naked suspect with the women. When asked who he was and what he was doing, he claimed to have come to see an unknown person called Zama.
The suspect was held until the police came and arrested him.
