A warm gesture by little champs
WAVERLEY - Little Champs in Waverley did a little more during their Winter Holiday Club activities.
The camp was jam packed with stimulating and fun activities and shows for the campers, bursting at the seams and bubbling over with community spirit.
This winter they raised their goal by spearheading 67 minutes of goodness and kindness, well before Mandela’s birthday.
The children helped to hand over a donation of vegetables from Food Lovers Market, Rivonia to Lori Lewis of Yad Aharon in Sydenham, warming the cold winter of Yaddie’s 650 families that are given boxes of food weekly.
