Laura Mall, mother of Allessandro Mall is desperately looking for her missing son.
Allessandro is a 26-year-old autistic man who went missing on 29 October.
Laura said her family last saw him on 8th Street in Orange Grove at about 3.30pm on the day in question. “He was wearing a light blue T-shirt and light blue pants. Although they are both similar in colour, it is important to note that they differ,” said his mother. She also said he was wearing silver and red Nike sneakers, black pilot sunglasses, a black wristwatch and he was carrying a black umbrella with a wooden handle.
She described him as fair in complexion, with a slender build and is about 1.8m tall. “He weighs about 74kg, has brown eyes and dark brown hair,” she said.
“We just want the community to know that we are desperately looking for him and that we are offering a R5 000 reward,” said Laura.
Norwood Police Station communications officer, Captain Elliot Tshiyhase, confirmed that Allessandro was reported missing and he urged community members to get in touch with the police should they spot him.
