ALEXANDRA – Jealous man allegedly bites his wife after overhearing her talking on the phone to her lover.
Police are investigating a case of common assault after a jealous husband allegedly bit his wife when he overheard her talking to a lover on the phone.
Alex police spokesperson Lieutenant Allie Kodisang said when the wife gave her husband the cellphone to check the details of the last caller, the suspect threw it on the bed and bit her on the eye, arm and thighs.
She retaliated by biting him on the lower lip and they had to be separated by a neighbour.
