High tea on Women’s Day
ALEXANDRA - A high tea meeting for women on their day is scheduled for Kew in greater Alexandra.
uLwazi Lwami Leadership Project for Women is calling on women between the ages 26 to 50 years to join a high tea function on Women’s Day at the old Banakekeleni Centre at 117 11th Road, Kew.
The centre is close to the corner of 8th Avenue and Vincent Tshabalala Road in Alexandra.
Those wishing to attend need to RSVP on the following numbers for catering purposes: 072-056-9006 or 071-190-3997.
The “glorious event”, as the organisers have described it, will be from 9.30 until 2pm. Those attending are encouraged to dress smart and strictly no sneakers and jeans.
There will be celebrity guests and guest speakers, including loads of prizes to be won. There will also be a small expo for women in business.
