Son steals rice and a loaded electricity card from his mom
ALEXANDRA – Creche owner steals electricity card and rice from his mother's home.
Police officers are investigating a man for the theft of a packet of rice and a loaded electricity card from his mother’s residence in Alex.
It is unclear whether or not the suspect lives there, but it is said that he operates a child day-care centre near the residence.
According to the spokesperson for Alexandra Police Station, Lieutenant Allie Kodisang, the incident occurred at 2.30am on 22 February. The mother, who was woken up by the sound of movements outside the house, peeped through a window and allegedly saw her son jumping over a wall.
In the morning, the sister looked for the electricity card but could not find it and on further checking, discovered that the packet of rice was also missing.
No arrest has been made as yet.
