ALEXANDRA – Robbers allegedly force women into vehicle and rob them of R9 500.
Two female victims were allegedly robbed of R9 500 by three suspects after they were bundled into a car.
Spokesperson for Alex Police Station, Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident happened mid-morning on 15 March. The victims withdrew money from a bank at Pan Africa Mall and were walking on a street when a white VW Polo stopped next to them.
Two of the suspects, one with a knife and the other with a firearm, exited the vehicle and allegedly threatened to stab the victims. The suspects forced them into the vehicle and drove off. On the way, they searched the victims and took the money which was hidden in one of the victims’ bra and also a purse and their identity documents.
The suspects then dropped them off at the corner of Glen and Greenville roads in Bramley before speding off.
