14-year-old girl allegedly raped by 33-year-old man in Alexandra
ALEXANDRA – Child rapist in police spotlight.
Alex police are investigating the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl by a 33-year-old neighbour.
Police spokesperson Captain Allie Kodisang said the incident occurred at about 5pm on 25 March in the suspect’s shack.
A witness informed the child’s mother, who was away at her street trading business, that her daughter was seen with the suspect. When asked, the victim told her mother that the suspect took her from the street by force and into his shack where he undressed and allegedly raped her without using a condom. She further disclosed that the suspect started raping her from the age of eight.
